Cheering On Mom: For my Children

I officially graduate in two days with my Masters of Educational Technology. Could it really be? I meant to get this piece published but ran out of time, so I’m publishing it here as my final hoorah. Enjoy and thanks!

    • Thanks, Ilonka! It’s been a real treat to connect with you — hopefully we’ll get to meet in person someday as our paths cross. Thanks so much for your virtual support.

  1. Congratulations, Gretel! I love your honesty and your commitment to yourself and your family. Rilke said to live the questions and you will find yourself living the answers. I’m going to live your question for the next few days–is there something I used to enjoy doing that I can now rekindle and share with my children? And rather than mourn what I miss, you give me inspiration to experience “something” with them. What possibilities!

    • Thanks, Michelle, for your kind comment! I get my actual diploma in the mail this week and I think we’ll have a big celebration opening. I love your idea of living the questions and living the answers. I will certainly try that. Headed to ISTE this next week — are you going? Hope things are well!
